Eight Hundred Forty Miles

Hello all,

This past weekend was the main trip. I drove through the Miss. River Delta to
Hot Springs, Arkansas for a few days. Due to the scenic route, I really enjoyed the
drive, except for all the highway department road work ongoing. The oxbow lakes
are lovely to view.

Hot Springs was so relaxing to my tired data entry mind. I stayed in a motel on the
banks of Lake Hamilton. The weather was crisp and cool in the mornings. Then in the
evening of the 5th, I went to the gallery walk in town. There are about 8-10 art galleries
on one avenue there, and about a thousand people were strolling around viewing them
and enjoying meeting new people. Maybe some art got sold, too!

Later that weekend I drove north through the low hills near the delta and stayed one
night in a small town. I felt I needed to try different areas. I got lots of photos.

Back home I drove, and never a worry about traffic, except around Memphis. Such a
happy trip. Luckily, when I returned, I was able to get some office temp work to pay
for the expenses. Talk to you later!
